Diabetes and your feet
Diabetes can reduce sensation and blood flow in the feet. Annual foot checks are standard NHS care. Warning signs between check-ups: numbness, Colour changes, wounds that don’t heal, hot swelling.
See a registered podiatrist (HCPC-registered) for routine diabetic foot care; contact your diabetes team urgently for wounds or infection signs.
